MIAMI FIT!

Warm climate, sandy beaches, beautiful places!! What would it be like without the beautiful people we see here on Sunny South Beach Miami? Looking good and feeling good doesn't come with the territory. Just ask Courtney and Laticia. Staying fit is the reason so many people in Miami keep up with the gorgeous surroundings. Courtney and Laticia both enjoy Yoga and Kick Boxing and working up a sweat has become a hobby and part of what they call a good feeling. Some say art is what you can create with your mind and put on a canvas, but the human body can be sculpted into a beautiful work of art just by good eating habits, determination, and a regular exercising routine. Having a the will power to say no to your favorite junk foods help out, but the main thing is to cut out unnecessary sugars and carbohydrates. Who says you can't look the way you want to? It's just a matter of creating a diet and committing to it. STICK WITH YOUR PROGRAM and the results will blow your mind away.

LIFE BOUTIQUE

Welcome to Life Boutique.

The Life Boutique is a new concept developed by Liana Flores and Mai Bonillo. What Life Boutique is? Life highlights South Beach's hottest local talent by featuring all hand made jewelry, handbags, and other merchandise created by actual local South Beach designers. They also showcase paintings and works done by local artists. There are 7 local artists featured so far, but exhibits will be on rotation, as to give more local artists a chance in the spotlight.
Each one of their local designers are from different parts of the world. With influences from Puerto Rico, Argentina, New York, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile, Life features a microcosm of the cornucopia that is South Beach. The philosophy at Life is about community and true appreciation of art, and their goal is to bring beauty into our everyday lives. The owners are also working on a Life skin care line that will be coming out soon.
Life Boutique is located at 710 Washington Avenue, South Beach Miami  FL (store #12). Just across the street from the Dash store. You can also visit their website at www.lifeboutiquesouthbeach.com . Stop by the store and watch the inhouse designers make jewelry, or visit their website for more information. "When in South Beach you have to stop by, have a seat and let us make you something that you can cherish for years to come!"

Q & A's

What do you hope to accomplish in the next 10 years?
Well thats the funny thing. I live my life by faith and what ever God allows me to accomplish I am truly satisfied. 10, 20, 30 years from now I can say that my life is great because I had the strength to put God first.

Do you have a mantra?

If your home were on fire what is one thing you would save?
Wow that's tough! I'd probably die trying to go in for my camera equipment cause I would grab my computer first.

If you could invite 8  people (living, dead, animal or fiction)  to dinner who would you choose?

PET PEEV PART 1

In over 10 years of photography on location it never ceases to amaze me that how many people are oblivious to the fact that you are working. I don't mind a captive audience when I shoot on location. You get the people who really appreciate the work you and the model are doing. My biggest Pet Peeve is when working on location the people who get in the way of the shoot, the obnoxious fellow or the perverted fellow. The people who just have to be in the shot or even the clueless people who are in the shot and for some reason believe that they are not.

THE WORKING GUYS.

In this particular shoot the driver in the work truck was going super slow just to get by,  I know your working but why so slow? Have you never seen a girl before? Vanessa and I had already talked about two other people who just showed up to watch and they were basically in the shot. It's like hey buddy can you move a lil further from the model? As a matter of fact can you move further down the beach?

The second guy also working, he had been driving up and down the beach in the location we were shooting earlier just to watch. Well low and behold he's BAAACKK!! Look at him sitting in the back round in his 4 wheeler just parked under the tree like he has some work he is doing there. For about 10 minutes I had the pleasure of waiting patiently for this guy to leave. Finally he got his eye full and decided that he really couldn't see much of the model from behind cause her coat is way too long.

~Grrrrrrr~

PET PEEV PART 2

Don't get me wrong but like I said before I have a tolerance and eventually the limit will be reached and things could go from bad to worse. I really do appreciate a captive audience when I shoot on location. Like I said before its my biggest Pet Peeve is to work on location and the people who pass by just get in the way of the shoot.

THE PASSING BY AUDIENCE.

In this particular shoot it was at the bus stop so I expected some people to be around and walk by, but come on this lady was asking the model her life story. It took at least 5 minutes out of shooting time to get this lady to BEAT IT! Vanessa had to ask her to leave several times cause she was in the middle of a shoot. If I had not been across the street with traffic coming I would have done it myself.
